Camilo Correal is a civil engineer from Universidad de los Andes (Bogota-Colombia) with a master degree in Science/Urban and Regional Planningat Universität Fridericiana Karlsruhe, Karlsruhe in Germany.

Camilo has been visiting researcher at World Bank in Washington D.C (USA) and his experience is focused on infrastructure project planning and financial business management.

He started his professional experience as an advisor and later on as a chief of the division for the Office of Sustainable Energy and Infrastructure at the National Planning Department.

There, he collaborated in the design of public policies that allow the private sector to participate in public infrastructure works. Later on he worked at the Office of Urban Transportation and Infrastructure Planning, designing and implementing the strategy for the development of the Integrated Public Transport System in the major cities around the country.

Camilo worked at Cal y Mayor Asociados as a Consultant manager in Mexico city. He was responsible to develop the demand studies and technical and economic feasibility analysis for several infrastructure projects in Mexico and Central America.

From 2003 to 2007 his office developed more than 100 studies for different transportation infrastructure projects in Mexico, Central America and the United States. Thanks to these studies several clients were able to reach financial support up to 5000 millions of dollars from different sources such as the stock market and banks.

Francisco Bernal (E-mail: fbernal@link-c.co)

Francisco Bernal is a civil engineer from Universidad de los Andes (Colombia). He holds an MBA from Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) an international business master degree from University of Lausanne (Swtizerland) and complimentary courses in Project management from Notre Dame University (USA) and Seminarium (Colombia)

He worked for the National Planning Department in Colombia as a manager coordinator for the Private participation for public infrastructure works initiative. There he collaborated in the design of several infrastructure projects and the regulations for private investment in government projects He also has experience in the fields of construction and road infrastructure.

Camilo Mendoza (E-mail: cmendoza@link-c.co)

Civil engineer from Universidad de los Andes (Bogota- Colombia) with a master in urban Management and Development from Erasmus University (Rotterdam- Holland) and high studies in Integrated Transportation system planning, Transportation system management, intelligent transportation systems and land policy.

Camilo has been a researcher for several international organizations in the fields of urban development and planning. He coordinated the project for the improvement of Transmilenio’s supplementary public transportation as part of his job at Consorcio Internacional PBH Ingenieros Consultores –ETT- Euroestudios.

During his work at the Colombian National Planning Department he carried out duties as a consultant for the Sustainable Energy and Infrastructure Office. He also collaborated on the research to create national policies for public transportation, logistic and competitiveness.

Camilo also collaborated with the National Government as an advisor for setting policies for private participation in public works, and financial and legal planning for public works among others.

He has been a consultant in integrated urban development for the World Bank and at Bogota Chamber of Commerce and a researcher for the Lincoln Institute for Land Poly at Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Alfonso Castro (E-mail: acastro@link-c.co)

Mechanical and electrical engineer from Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria (Lima-Peru) Alfonso specializes in Information Systems Analysis at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru. He also holds a master in Transportation engineering from Universidad Autonoma de México and supplementary studies in network transportation at MIT. Alfonso started his experience in 1998 at Empresa Nacional de Transporte Urbano in Peru (ENTRU PERU S.A) as a specialist in Operation management , after this he continued workins as a researcher at Ground Transportation Development and Research Center.

As a software development specialist in transportation, Alfonso worked on the public sector as the chief of Simulation for Transportation systems at Lima Peru.

Later on he flew to Mexico and joined the team at Cal y Mayor. There we worked in the field of transportation systems. Up to date, Alfonso counts has worked in more than hundred projects focused on transportation in countries such as Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Ecuador and Panama.

Giovanny Calderón (E-mail: gcalderon@link-c.co)

Civil engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia (2004). He is currently pursuing a master degree in Transport Engineering at the same university. Giovanny worked over 8 years as a transit and transport specialist at Cal y Mayor. He was involved in the macro and micro simulations of different projects related to transportation in the countries of Mexico, Panama, Colombia, Peru and Argentina. He also participated in projects such as:

- The metro train in Panama
- Inter-municipal network system planning for Colombian cities.
- Demand and income analysis for the integrated public transportation system in Bogota.
- Traffic design solutions for the city Comodoro –Rivadavia in Argentina
- Real state development impact in traffic city analysis for Mexico.
- Currently Giovanny is one of our consulant partners at the company and he focuses on the projects related to Transit and transportation development for Colombia and Peru.
